Charles Freeman

Charles joined Albany Trustee in the summer of 2008 as Company Secretary.

Following several years with a conference producer, Charles has worked in the field of trust and company administration since 1993 during which time he has administered a variety of products and corporate structures. Since 2001, he has specialised in corporate governance and his responsibilities at Albany include risk management and compliance.

He completed the qualifying programme of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 2000, and was made a Fellow of the Institute in 2004. Charles has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners since 1999, presently sitting on the committee of the Guernsey Branch as Hon. Secretary, and is an Associate of the Compliance Institute.

Outside the office Charles enjoys exploring mainland Europe and frequently embarks on lengthy driving tours.
