Albany Trustee staff are committed to combating financial crime by complying with Albany Trustee’s policies and procedures and all applicable laws, regulations, rules, codes and guidelines relating to money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

 

Anti-bribery and corruption

Albany Trustee staff adhere to a strict anti-bribery and corruption policy prohibiting, inter alia, the offering, giving, solicitation or the acceptance of any bribe or corrupt inducement, whether in cash or in any other form.

 

Modern Slavery Act 2015 & Transparency in Supply Chains

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or any part of our business. We view the risk of modern slavery within our business to be low and our supply chain to be straightforward.

 

Code of Market Conduct

Adhering to the Code of Market Conduct and Albany Trustee’s policies, procedures and controls in respect of restricted investments, personal dealing and unlawful conduct.

 

Other criminality

Albany Trustee staff will not facilitate, assist or enable another person to commit a criminal offence, including, without limitation, tax evasion.

 

Confidentiality

Albany Trustee staff are committed to maintaining confidentiality over clients' affairs at all times and to ensuring that all confidential and personal data is secured and protected from unlawful access, loss, damage or destruction in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017, as amended from time to time.

Albany Trustee staff are committed to conducting themselves with integrity, avoiding conflict of interest and dealing properly with any conflict of interest by reporting any actual or potential personal conflicts of interest in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures.
