Charlotte Bates

Charlotte joined Albany in 2024, initially on a consultancy basis before assuming the position of Managing Director in 2025.  Charlotte brings over three decades of experience in fiduciary, risk and operations management across the Guernsey financial services sector having previously held senior leadership roles where she was responsible for corporate governance, risk oversight and strategic operations.  Charlotte’s experience leading complex, regulated environments and fostering high performance teams supports Albany Trustee’s continued commitment to exceptional client service and operational excellence.

Charlotte holds the Institute of Directors diploma in Company Direction (Dip IOD) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Diploma in International Trust Management (TEP).

Outside of work, when not clearing up after her two spoilt dogs or her teenage sons, Charlotte enjoys a few social drinks and as life is all about balance, the odd Pilates session.
